#GivingTuesday is an annual day of giving to non-profits. It falls on Tuesday every year after Thanksgiving.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, fundraising is an essential role in the growth of the organization. Four years ago, Avenues SLS started the “Fuel for Volunteers” campaign. Funds received from #GivingTuesday help defray the costs of fuel used by our employees when transporting people we support to their volunteer jobs.
Our Goal is $7,777 annually, last year we raised $4,722. This year we hope to meet and exceed our goal. You can help us achieve that by texting the word FUEL to 71-777 and a message will prompt you to our volunteer’s story page.
